Jimmy's North Star

Opening in 1933, originally called the "North Star", the bar you know and love today is rooted in La crosse history. Fast forward 80 years, past owner Jimmy Powell bought the restaurant in 2013, fittingly naming the space "Jimmy's North Star". Under Powell, now-owner Peter Crogan worked as the general manager before eventually purchasing the restaurant in 2021. Peter is incredibly proud of what Jimmy's has become, and therefore decided to keep the "Jimmy's North Star" name, paying homage to his good friend and the incredible space that they have created.
